Unoriginal, but Brilliant!

This is the only game I've opened more than once on Newgrounds, and that really says something. I've played the heck out of the original Super Mario Bros, and the crossover idea has been juggled around for ages... However, this game has nailed it! The attention to detail of the original Super Mario Bros and the crossover characters is simply amazing; you can tell the author is no amateur!

My only gripe is that all the characters that are available (with the exception of Mario) go the same speed: slow. I constantly finding myself racing the clock instead of enjoying myself. Why not have some more characters as well, not just crossed over from Nintendo games, but maybe Sega? *cough* 8-bit Sonic *cough*.

Still a minor gripe, but it's no reason to not keep coming back and playing over and over again, mastering the levels with each character! Perfect 10 from me!

Just Pac-Man. Nothing more.

So what's different between Pac-Man and this? I can only see one thing: Graphics. You really didn't do much for this game besides use all of someone else's code, and just modify their flash file to put in your own graphics.

Sorry, I have to give this a 1/5, and a 2/10.

It's allright, I guess

It's a good idea for a game, but there are definitely some ideas where you can improve.
• There's nothing "extreme" about the game. It's Super Mario World with only the jump button.
• Don't use sprites. You should have drawn up some original graphics that could give it the 'X-treme' feel.
• It's very choppy. Raise your frame rate to around 25 to get it running smoothly.
• After dying, it's very, very slow to get back to the game. I don't like waiting, and would like to jump right back into action immediately.

I suggest making improvements, and then re-submitting. It may do better!

Ehhh... Needs some work

I know this is meant to be simple, but it's *too* simple. I could leave it running all night and get an amazing score, only because if you press Start and don't move the mouse, that ball ain't gonna go anywhere.

You need to have it start off in motion or else it's too easy to let it sit there and get points.

This deserves a 0

This deserves a 0. Why? I'll tell you:
•) You made an INTRO to a soundboard. Never put an intro to a Soundboard. People want to get directly to it, not wait 1 minute for crappy text to roll by so say that it's by you. Take it out.
•) Your sound clips are TOO LONG. The purpose of a soundboard is to have short clips taken, usually of 1 person talking (see some celebrity soundboards). Even 5 seconds is too long
•) You tied it to a really bad interface. It was ugly, and nobody can tell what the sound clip is going to be about just by it's one word you have there. I saw "oggy" and thought "What the hell is that?". I didn't know until I listened to the 30 second clip, which was a waste of time.

Better luck next time, this should be removed and you should redo it, hopefully taking into consideration my points I've made.

Yuck ><

I'm sorry, but Avril Lavigne is an ugly stuck up snob who can't sing.

Seriously, why were you chosen for that job, I'd rather clean a toilet with my tongue.

Hei man, I really hate her too. But I develop all the games in this web site, but the theme isn't mine. I only made. My boss give me what he wants and I develop.

Sets the Standards for all Flash Games

Congratulations Tom and Dan. The two of you together seem to undoubtedly create the best and most addicting games. Right from the cartoony graphics (Of course, they're wonderful visuals!), to the nonstop action, the games like Alien Hominid & Dad 'n Me make me want to play them all the time. Honestly, Alien Hominid is one of those games that I like to just pick up and play for the fun of it, and I tell you, Dad 'n Me makes me feel the exact same thing. I really enjoy your comical style and ideas, and Tom, you are indeed a wonderful Flash programmer. It would be an honor to learn from you.

The only downside is that many people need to lower the quality of the game just to have it at a decent playable speed. Although it's not an issue for me, since I've got an extremely high end dual processor G5, other people tend to complain about it, and I couldn't really show my friends your masterpiece since it lagged to much on their computers.

I say if you got the rig to play this, play it! This is how games should be, and not be something like Beating up the Backstreet Boys or something :P No, I'm not looking at you Tom :P

Again, congrats to you both! I smell a second console game :)

Hmmm...

Honestly, I don't really like it. It's too simple, and your physics are completely off.

Work a little harder, and then submit a completed piece of work, not a demo, unless it's worth submitting.

Kinda boring

I've seen so many of these "death by" things, that they just don't really mean much to me anymore.

Although I did like this one, the lack of sound completely took away from the experience, completely lowering my thoughts about it.

Resubmit it with sound. I don't understand why are people in such a hurry to upload UNFINISHED videos to Newgrounds? Do it right, or not at all.

I like it!

It's a great second attempt! I think I saw your first one and it wasn't all that great, but this is a major improvement.

One small thing, the Qwerty keyboard layout starts as QWERTY not QWERTZ, and the bottom row is ZXCVBNM not YXCVBNM :) It doesn't affect anything, but just thought I'd point it out :)
